Sun, January 20, 2008 - 8:09 PMi heart my pleo! we haven't been able to spend too much time with him yet... but favorite behavior so far is that he wants to crawl up in my lap and go to sleep. very cute. he tends to fall asleep alot anyway...

the only disappointment so far is the paint on the skin -- it started wearing-off after the first hour or so... but i don't really care that much... -

Mon, January 21, 2008 - 6:27 AMwe love our little one. the paint is suppose to come off the skin to give each pleo "markings". that was planned. what wasn't planned was the paint coming off the teeth. on the pleo site they have a link to a supplier for touch up paint.
It's been so much fun seeing what new things Zoe will do. my favorite is how she laughs and is ticklish when she is upside down and you press on her feet. hopefully this weekend she is going to have a playdate with another pleo as they are suppose to interact with each other. -

re: skin -- i don't know about "planned" as much as "a known bug is a feature"... but i'm cool with it... the teeth thing seems to be easily fixable; they have a recommendation for a Testor paint on the pleoworld site.
so, have you tried hacking yet? or that holiday behavior? i totally skipped that -- i didn't want to subject him to some horrible commercialized flim-flam (overprotective parent!), but i suspect that i may have to in order to find this "Watchdog" mode...

Tue, January 22, 2008 - 4:24 AMwe did add the holiday behavior for a quick second. seriously creepy. she kind of howl/barked/hummed christmas songs. we haven't hacked her yet although that's a big reason we got her. we've had her since before x-mas but with macworld and gdc haven't had a lot of time to do any mods.

Tue, January 22, 2008 - 4:30 AMI'm bad, we didn't even look at the site. zoe has done all of those things including the watch dog behavior but we didn't do anything special to make her do it. she seemed to just start doing it after a month or so...
