i was contacted today by "Grace" with an appeal to post a casting call notice for "True Life"... i was reluctant to post it through, but two things made me reconsider:
1) she was decent enough to ask first, and
2) True Life is a stand-out in the MTV line-up.
below is her letter. i posted the casting call info in the listings.

Hi Ray,
I found the "Queer Geeks" tribe through a blog called "Blather and Bosh."
I'm helping to cast an episode of MTV's "True Life" called "I Live Another Life on the Web." I wanted to see if you might be willing to post the casting notice to your members. We are looking for someone who is out on the web, but maybe not yet in real life. Please take a look and let me know what you think!

Fri, February 15, 2008 - 2:24 AMlooks interesting, so many queer are coming out first on the web and then later in their real lives it's nice to see they are looking at this. I don't have cable so I've never seen the show. have to DL it when it comes out.
